Web design has evolved over the last few years into a constantly changing beast, keep up or get left behind. Not so long ago an individual, company or organisation had a website designed and built and that was it, most of the time it was thought the design of the website would be fine for years to come.
Not true today, website design and even the way a website is now built is very different to just a few years ago, it’s getting to be a very fashion conscious industry.
Many of our clients contact me and ask for advice, usually the same line of questioning “I still get plenty of visitors to my site, I can see in my website statistics, but I am not getting the same amount of enquiry’s as I used to” The simple answer is your site is still well optimised and ranks well hence the visitors but what is their impression of your site?
They might not even be aware themselves why they went on searching and found one of your competitor’s website more appealing, followed up contacting or calling and the business went there.
Like fashion the best outfit feels great when it’s first purchased but a year or so down the line it’s not looking so good and it shows.
